This month is chock full of fantastic events that will delight everyone in your family. From culinary month to some awesome zero-waste and sustainability events, there’s something for everyone.
From the Uttermost Ends of the World - A Celebration in Concert - 1st September - Cambridge Town Hall
Cambridge Brass Band is joined by several other local bands and performers to bring an exciting night of music to Cambridge. Tickets are $10/Adults, $25/Families and under 5 free! Starting at 4pm and bringing together some great acts it’ll be an awesome bight of music for all attending!

Learn how to Worm Farm Workshop - 2nd September - Cambridge Resthaven
If you have ever wanted to learn how to be that little bit more sustainable, attend a worm farm tutorial and take home with you everything you will need to begin integrating a work farm into your waste reducing routine. Tickets are $30, and you will leave with everything you need to begin your worm farm, including the worms!
Gaslight Theatre Presents: Breaking the Code - 2-16 September - Gaslight Theatre
Gaslight Theatre is running an interesting production combining drama and technology based on the alluring and fascinating mind of Alan Turing. Alan was the mathematical genius also renowned as the father of modern technology, with a troubled outlook on life. Tickets are $25 and available at Gaslight Theatre.
NZ Blood Service Blood Drive - 5th& 6th September - Cambridge Town Hall
Eligible to give blood? Head on down to Cambridge Town Hall and book in to help out those in dire need! You may just save a life.

Waste Free Parenting - 6th September - Cambridge Town Hall
Pick up some fantastic tips about reducing waste at home with your families at this fun, humorous and entertaining event held by Kate Meads. Beginning at 9am, tickets are $25 and include a free goody bag full of waste-minimising tools and tricks to kick start your initiative.

Kelvin Cruickshank Medium Presentation - 12th September - Cambridge Town Hall
The previously popular medium show presented by Medium Kelvin Cruickshank is coming to Cambridge! Doors open at 6.30, with tickets available for purchase at the Cambridge I-Site.
Cambridge Half Marathon - 15th September - Cambridge High School
Join in in this year’s Cambridge Half Marathon, and challenge yourself or a friend! With spot prizes and overall prizes, there is a ton of incentives to participate (not that you needed some already!)

2K Schools Dash - 15th September - Cambridge High School

Latte Art Throwdown - 17th September - St Kilda Cafe & Bistro
Test out your coffee art skills or just come along to watch the pro’s create great art at the Latte Art Throwdown at St Kilda Cafe & Bistro as part of the Cambridge Culinary Festival. Head in and grab a coffee and watch, or give it a go yourself with $1000 in prize money to be won.
Contestants can enter for $10 on EventFinda and spectators are free.
Raw & More at The Bikery - 18th September - The Bikery Cafe
We all LOVE raw baking, and The Bakery is holding a fantastic event where we can try all types of raw baking goodies as part of Cambridge Culinary Festival. A mix of raw treats, with occasional classic treat thrown in, and a colourful special latte to finish off the experience! Held from 1-2pm, tickets are available via The Bikery website or via phone for $22.00 each.
Farm and Market Garden Tour - 19th September - Alexander Organics
Learn all about how Alexander Organics manage their land and animals organically. Perfect for lifestyle block owners, small farms, or anyone that is particularly interested in learning about sustainability and organic maintenance.

Alpino Long Lunch - 20th September - Alpino
Treat yourself to a lunch of culinary excitement with Alpino’s Long Lunch with Peroni as part of Cambridge Culinary Festival. Welcomed with Champagne with four luxurious courses paired with Peroni throughout the event, it will be a decadent way to welcome the weekend!

Champagne Billecart Breakfast - 20th September - St Kilda Cafe & Bistro
St Kilda Cafe & Bistro are holding a Champagne Breakfast in association with Billecart-Salmon Champagne. Choose a time between 7.30-10.00am and enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne alongside a wonderful breakfast meal, with options to purchase more champagne if necessary. Plus each attendee goes into the draw to win a Billecart-Salmon prize pack.

Pirongia Craft Day - 29th September - Crozier Street, Pirongia
Venture out of Cambridge for a day of food, music and market stalls at the Pirongia Craft Day, one of the biggest markets in NZ. With a huge turnout of over 200 stalls that floods the Main Street of Pirongia, it is not to be missed! With only genuine made NZ crafts and products allowed, it is a great way to support local and NZ businesses!
Starts from 9 and goes until 3pm.
