WOW! It’s November already! How scary is that thought!?

The year seems to be flying by, and now we are here to give you the highlighted events for the month of November before we get into the big one… DECEMBER.

Bloom Collective Market - 9th November

Bloom Collective is back this November with their market! We’re so excited to see all the fun handmade stalls and what people have created. Held at the Leamington Domain from 4-8pm it’ll be a great way to spend your Saturday afternoon!

Armistice in Cambridge - 9th-10th November

Come along to the Karapiro domain to celebrate Armistice in Cambridge. The biggest commemorative event in New Zealand, this marks the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice between the Allied nations and German Empire in 1918, which ended the First World War. 

Alongside an official memorial ceremony, the history and pageantry of New Zealand’s military past is also recognised through the displaying of militaria.

Karapiro Memorial Regatta - 16th-17th November

If rowing is of interest of you, head along to the Karapiro Domain to watch the teams face off over two days for the Memorial Regatta. Should be a wonderful way to spend the weekend!

2019 Rotary Cambridge Garden Festival - 24th November

For those who want some garden motivation and inspiration, this event is for you! 11 gardens will be on display down at the Lake Te Koutu Domain from 9am-4:30pm to look through. There will be a fantastic mix of various gardens which we’re sure will offer you lots of inspiration for your own!

Stragglers Rod and Kustom Charity Car Show and Family Fun Day - 24th November

Always a wonderful day out for everyone, car fan or not! Head down to Karapiro Domain to experience a diverse collection of different cars from around the region, some wonderful food stalls and live music with free rides and entertainment for kids. A great day for all the family! Held from 10-4 with a gold coin entry with proceeds going towards a group of chronically ill local children.

Waltz and Foxtrot Beginner’s Dance Class - 28th November

Are you interested in trying out dancing? Give it a try for yourself on the 28th at Karapiro Hall, Karapiro Rd, (south of Cambridge off SH1 just behind the Mobil Station), 7.30pm.

Charge is $3 to cover the cost of Hall hire. A promotion by South Waikato Good Companions Dance Club. For information contact Pat: Ph 027 853 5900.

Cambridge Christmas Festival - 29th November - 17th December

How exciting is this?! The magic of Christmas comes to the Cambridge Town Hall with the Cambridge Christmas Festival annual event, raising money for local charities.

This year the theme is ‘This is Cambridge’ with beautifully decorated trees in the hall to bring excitement to young and old.

The Christmas shop is a treat to visit, with handmade decorations and gifts, followed by a homemade Christmas treat in the tearoom while a choir sings carols most days.

Santa visits midday on the weekend, and a gold coin donation is appreciated at the entrance.
